The campers are all hard at work finishing up their fieldwork and starting to analyze and present their results (four boys are diligently working on graphs about fish and caterpillars at the table next to me right now). And today’s blog post detailing the day will be up later, but I thought I’d share just a few of my favorite pictures from the past few days. More pictures will arrive via e-mail and/or on this blog later.
Below, left to right, proceeding top to bottom: Noah and Asher test the waters of Lake Tahoe, Anthony, Nathan, and Racha work on their projects in the fish house, hanging out at Independence Lake, Racha and James smell a Jeffrey Pine (smells like butterscotch!), Madi and Mia look at lichens for their projects, Purna heads off to do fieldwork in the meadow.
